PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knockdown type winding drum capable of meeting various sizes of sheet materials easily as the winding drum for large-sized sheet materials, reusable without the need for disposal after use, and returnable easily after use, thereby reducing packing expenses. SOLUTION: This winding drum for sheet materials comprises a right and left pair of side end members, each of which has an shaft engaging part on one end of a cylindrical shaft member having a prescribed diameter and prescribed length, and a flange engaging means, on the other end, over the full circumference of an outer cylindrical surface or an equally divided portion in the circumferential direction of the outer cylindrical surface, and which can be joined to each other at the shaft engaging part, and a plurality of flat enlarged members which are detachably attached to the flange engaging means of the respective side end members and extend radially by a prescribed length.
