PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing, capable of maintaining high quietness over a long period. SOLUTION: Before assembly, an inner ring, an outer ring, a rolling element and a cage are ultrasonically cleaned. By the cleaning, grains inside of a beating (a space formed of the inner ring outer peripheral surface, the outer ring inner peripheral surface, the rolling element, the cage, and a seal) and having the hardness of not less than Hv 800 (8 Gpa) have the mean grain diameter of not more than 2μm.
