摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain high-performance inorganic composite particles readily controlling the particle shape and particle diameter in a method for synthesizing the inorganic composite particles by a coprecipitation method and a high-performance inorganic fluorescent substance. SOLUTION: This method for producing inorganic coprecipitate particles is characterized as preparing an aqueous solution containing two or more kinds of metal ions, dividing the resultant solution into a solution A used for producing nuclear particles and a solution B used for growing the nuclear particles, initially carrying out a coprecipitation depositing reaction of the solution B, preparing a product solution containing the nuclear particles, then uniting the resultant product solution with the solution B and conducting the coprecipitation depositing reaction in the method for producing the coprecipitate particles from a solution containing the two or more kinds of metal ions. The inorganic coprecipitate baked particles are formed by baking the inorganic coprecipitate particles obtained by the above method at >=600 deg.C temperature and have 0.5-10μm average particle diameter. The inorganic fluorescent substance or fluorescent substance for a vacuum ultraviolet excitable element comprises the inorganic coprecipitate baked particles containing europium and yttrium and having 0.5-10μm average particle diameter.
