PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the reduction of electric power consumption and good image display by successively delaying control signals within a precharging circuit. SOLUTION: The precharging circuit is constituted to have a reference signal input section to which at least >=1 precharging reference potentials are inputted, a control signal input section to input at least one control signal, a plurality of signal delaying sections which successively delay the outputs of the control signal input sections and a reference signal switching section which switches the signals of the reference signal input section are to be outputted to a data signal line or not according to the output of the signal delaying sections. The precharging control signals are successively delayed in the delay circuit consisting of an inverter circuit, etc., within the circuits and the writing periods of the precharging reference potentials to the data signal line are dispersed. The control signals are successively delayed within the precharging circuit, by which the reduction of the electric power consumption and the good image display are realized.
