PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer for photosensitive material capable of forming an image on a wider photosensitive material while maintaining the image quality at a fixed level by using a digital micro-mirror element and a D-ILA element or the like. SOLUTION: Image exposure is performed by dividing the image of one image plane in the width direction (for example, a direction perpendicular to the moving direction of the photosensitive material) by using a mirror 7. Even when the digital micro-mirror element 3 has a comparatively small number of micro-mirrors, the number of dots per 2.54 cm (1 inch) is increased, thereby, a high-quality image can be formed.
