摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal panel drive method capable of performing a suitable gradation display even at a low temp. by performing temperature compensation to a drive signal, a liquid crystal device and an electronic equipment using the liquid crystal device. SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal device 1, when the gradation display of a pulse width modulation system is performed, a table control circuit 41 of a temperature compensation circuit 40 controls whether the gradation data 600 are generated by using either pulse width data for a regular temperature or for a low temperature stored in a gradation table 60 based on the temperature detection result by a temperature detector 70. At a low temperature, since a threshold value voltage is different when a gradation level is minimum and maximum and when it is a halftone, so as to compensate it, the pulse width of an image signal when the gradation level is minimum and maximum is brought near to the pulse width of the image signal when it is the halftone.
