PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently conduct the draft and ventilation in a room without deteriorating the anticrime and soundproof functions of a door while the door is closed. SOLUTION: This ventilation apparatus comprises a door board 2 pivotally supported openably in a door frame P and having a storage recess 5 recessed to the outdoor side, a window frame section 6 formed on the bottom face of the storage recess 5 inserted with an insect-proof net body 7, a sliding plate 3 advanced to the outdoor direction or stored in the storage recess 5 to introduce air into the room through the window frame section 6 or to close the window frame section 6, and a pair of the right and left draft plates 4 foldable when the sliding plate 3 is stored and retracted into the storage recess 5. A sliding plate reciprocating mechanism 11 formed with a reciprocating action handle 13 rotatably connected to the inner face side of the sliding plate 3 at the tip through a slide guide hole 12 on the storage recess 5 side and protruded with a plurality of ribs 13A along the axial direction is provided. The sliding plate 3 is protruded from the door board 2 for ventilation, or it is stored and closed.
