<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem such that much space on a desk is required for a mouse system in order to drive a sphere and that the operation is damaged in a track ball system because the sphere has to be directly driven by an operator's hand. SOLUTION: In order to solve the problem, the sphere is fixed and a driving part is moved on the sphere. The size of the driving part is made so as to be comfortably held by the operator's hand (equivalent to the mouse). Consequently, not much space on desk is required and high operation comfort equivalent to the mouse can be maintained.</p> |
