<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for measuring pulse wave propagation velocity information with which highly accurate pulse wave propagation velocity information may be obtained. SOLUTION: Period mean pulse pressure PMav for each pressure sensitive element E of pulse pressure PM calculated by a pulse pressure calculating means 72 is calculated by a period mean pulse pressure calculating means 82, a reference pulse pressure PST is calculated on the basis of the maximum period mean pulse pressure MAXP in the period mean pulse pressure PMav for each of the pressure sensitive elements E by a reference pulse pressure determining means 84, and the period mean pulse wave propagation time Dtav calculated in the pressure sensitive element E detecting the period mean pulse pressure Pmav over the reference pulse pressure PST is determined as a candidate for normal pulse wave propagation time TDT by a candidate determining means 88. Then, since, by a normal pulse wave propagation velocity information determining means 92, a candidate for normal pulse wave propagation time TDT determined by a candidate determining means 88 which has a minimum standard deviationσis determined as the normal pulse wave propagation time TDT, highly accurate pulse wave propagation time DT may be obtained.</p> |
