PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toothbrush wherein the tips of bristles can reach gingiva grooves for easily eliminating dental plaque. SOLUTION: This toothbrush is provided with bundles of bristles planted on a brush base arranged to extend from a head of a handle part. One or more bundles of bristles are planted longitudinally in a row on the head of the brush base with a given space therebetween. One or more bundles of bristles are planted on a tail side of the brush base in a crosswise direction in more than one row with a given space therebetween. The head of the brush base is formed to be narrow.
