PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cut a cable, which is drawn out to the outside of a pipeline from an inspection module without hindrance, in such a state that the inspection module is left within the pipeline. SOLUTION: An apparatus for inspecting the interior of a pipe is constituted so as to be capable of inserting an inspection module with a cable in the pipe from the branch pipe provided in a pipeline. A valve 31 is provided to the branch pipe, and a cable 11 is introduced into the pipe from the outside through the valve 31. A pair of valve discs 32A, 32B, capable of sealing a part of the periphery of the cable and the remaining part of the periphery thereof when both discs approach each other, are provided to the valve 31.
