A method for micro-payments in an E-commerce system. A record of usage of the E-commerce system is created for each system user based on transactional documents transmitted in the E-commerce system. The record of usage is stored on a computer readable medium and retrieved in a periodic manner. An invoice is created for each user of the E-commerce system based on their system usage. System usage can comprise sending transactional documents, such as requests for quotes, sales proposals, signed contracts, and purchase orders. System usage can further comprise the amount of memory consumed by a server side user's database. |
