PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing container for a wax model with which quite a fragile wax model produced in detail and precisely stored therein is not damaged even when the container is dropped, fallen down or shocked during transportation or storage. SOLUTION: On the inside bottom center of a cylindrical container main body whose top outside periphery is fitted with a cover body, a pin shape projection able to be inserted in the through hole of a wax model is provided in a stand up manner. Also on the back face center of the cover body, a pin shape projection able to be in line with the projection provided on the main body when the cover body is fitted to the main body is provided. In storing a plurality of wax models simultaneously, pin shape projections able to be inserted in the through holes of the models with a big enough gap for the models to be put side by side without touching each other on the inside bottom face of the main body are provided in a stand up manner. The pin shape projection is formed as long as or longer than the through hole of the model. On the back face of the cover body of the container, a spacer made of a cushioning material thin enough not to create a gap between the back face of the cover body and the top end of the wax model stored when the main body is covered with the cover is provided.
