PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device which is used for drawing up squids and can smoothly and surely transfer a large amount of the live squids caught with a squid-fishing machine to a prescribed plate in a squid-fishing boat and thereby improve the efficiency of packing works for refrigerating and freezing the packed squids. SOLUTION: This device for drawing up squids is obtained by upward disposing in a squid-collected tank 2 a conveyer belt 5 which has drawing blades 4 on the carrying surface at a prescribed distance, especially pressing both the side edge portions of the carrying surface with press rolls 9 at the upper and lower portions to form the side surface shape of the conveyer belt 5 in an approximately inverse U-shape, disposing a squid falling-preventing belt 12 moving in the same direction in a state close to the drawing blades 4 in the standing portion of the conveyer belt, and further disposing a carrying chute 11 on the lower side of the upper bent portion of the conveyer belt. Thus, a large amount of the squids are transferred to a prescribed place via the carrying chute 11, while utilizing wrinkles generated by the compression of the carrying surface in the bent portion of the conveyer belt 5 to prevent the adsorption of the squids and further preventing the large amount of the squids from dropping in their entangled state from the tips of drawing blades 4.
