PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fence allowing a panel to be fitted simply and stably and having a good external appearance. SOLUTION: This fence is provided with supports 6, the panel 7 located between the supports 6, and a plurality of fitting tools 1 fixing the panel 7 to the supports 6. The panel 7 is formed with vertical wires 8 and horizontal wires 9 into a mesh. Each fitting tool 1 is provided with a fixing section 3 to the support 6 and a vertical groove 2 opened toward the support 6 and inserted with the side end vertical wire 18 of the panel 7. A first fitting tool 1A, at least one of the fitting tools 1, is provided with the mount section 4 of the horizontal wire 9. A second fitting tool 1B, at least one of the other fitting tools 1, is provided with a limiting section 5 limiting the upper shift of the horizontal wire 9. At least the first fitting tool 1A is fixed to the upper section of a support side face 6a by screws N, the second fitting tool 1B is fixed to the support side face 6a below the first fitting tool 1A by screws N, and a side end vertical wire 18 is continuously inserted into the vertical grooves 2 of the first fitting tool 1A and the second fitting tool 1B.
