PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the maintenance managing operation of a radio communication terminal by eliminating the necessity of an operator's going to a remote place in the case of setting the radio communication terminal at the remote place. SOLUTION: In this method for setting the radio communication terminal 6 constituted so as to transmit or receive data by radio communication with a control source 1, the terminal 6 is set based on a fact that the terminal 6 receives a command for setting the terminal 6, which is transmitted from the source 1. In this constitution, information concerning an address received by the terminal 6 after being transmitted from the source 1 is compared with a password registered in the terminal 6 and when these are match with each other, a data line connection mode is switched to a remote line connection mode. |
