PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To take measures to cope with reverberant sound in an elevator car. SOLUTION: A sound absorbing part 13 is placed between the base ceiling material 10 and the decorative ceiling panel 11 of an elevator car 1. A plate body 14 is disposed in parallel to the base ceiling material 10 and the decorative ceiling panel 11 between luminaires 9, 12 hung and separated from the base ceiling material 10. When sound in the elevator car 1 is reflected by the base ceiling material 10 and reverberates in the car, it is absorbed or reduced by the sound absorbing part 13.
