PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piece of disposable underwear excellent in hygroscopicity, touch of skin, air permeability, and nonantistaticity, besides capable of bringing health promotion effect when worn, excellent in antibacterial and antifungal property, and also requiring no repeated wearing owing to its inexpensiveness. SOLUTION: This piece of underwear is such one as to be made of a piece of nonwoven fabric made by entwining chitin/chitosan-bound natural fibers with cotton fibers. The piece of underwear has the following merits: it is extremely excellent in hygroscopicity, touch of skin, air permeability, and nonantistaticity each of which is required as underwear; it enables a wearer to make a long trip or work for a long time without fatigue as a result of its health promotion effect such as improving immunological function of the body and activating the living body and cells when worn; furthermore, it enables e.g. a bedridden elderly person to hygienically wear as it has antibacterial and antifungal property; besides, it is enyironmentally friendly and reasonably disposable as it is inexpensive and has property returnable to the earth.
