RUBBER COMPOSITION AND PNEUMATIC TIRE PRODUCED BY USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition containing silica as a reinforcing filler, having low heat-generation and good processability and especially exhibiting excellent breaking characteristics and abrasion resistance. SOLUTION: The objective rubber composition contains (A) 100 pts.wt. of a rubber component containing >=30 wt.% modified conjugated diene polymer produced by reacting an aminohydrocarbyloxysilane compound having a specific structure to a polymerization active terminal of a conjugated diene polymer and (B) 10-85 pts.wt. of hydrated silicic acid having a nitrogen adsorption specific surface area (BET) of 200-300 m2/g and a cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide adsorption specific surface area (CTAB) of 170-270 m2/g.
