PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a siloxane-containing epoxy resin composition suitable as a water-repellent agent or a water-repellent coating capable of being applied to a site which has a chance of meeting a solvent or a material containing a component by which the film-forming properties and adhesion of the water repellent are damaged, and further to provide an inkjet recording head and a liquid-jetting recording device having the surface of a nozzle always capable of being maintained at the same surface state, hardly causing the attachment of the ink on the surface of the print head even if the surface has been kept contact with the liquid for the recording, accordingly, good in accuracy of reach target, and capable of keeping the quality of print for a long period. SOLUTION: This alkylsiloxane-containing epoxy resin composition is characterized by including at least an alkylsiloxane-containing epoxy resin having two or more alkylsiloxane groups and cyclic aliphatic epoxy groups in the molecule, and a cationic polymerization catalyst included therein. The method for modifying the surface, the inkjet recording head and the liquid-jetting recording device are obtained by using the composition.
