PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reproducibility of an electrostatic discharge test by suppressing the ringing of a discharge waveform after an initial peak waveform without affecting the prescribed necessary conditions of the discharge waveform, and reducing an unnecessary high-frequency noise component and an electromagnetic wave being radiated from a metal conductor. SOLUTION: On the outer-periphery surface of a discharge chip 13 for composing a discharge current path in a discharge probe, a toroidal core 13b that is made of a magnetic material mixing resin layer for surrounding the discharge chip 13 is formed.
