PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a heat sensitive recording material having excellent color developability and excellent preservability with a small skin fog by a heat. SOLUTION: In the heat sensitive recording material comprising a heat sensitive color developing layer containing a normally colorless or hypochromic color developable compound, a developable compound color developable when heated and a sensitizer as essential components on a support, as the color developable compound, a 3-dipentylamino-6-methyl-7-anilinofluoran is contained, as the developable compound, a 2,4'-dihydroxydiphenylsulfone and a compound represented by formula (1), (wherein R1 is a <=4C alkyl group or cyclohexyl group, R2 is <=4C alkyl group) is contained, and as the sensitizer, a 1,2-bis(phenoxymethyl)benzene is contained. |
