PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for manufacturing a ceramic board for easily and accurately forming a dividable snap line. SOLUTION: Snap line molds 14 and 15 respectively have contact surfaces 141 and 151 contacted with both surfaces of a green sheet laminate 10 when pressurized. A snap knife 2 for working a snap line 13 on one surface 101 of the laminate 10 when pressurized is projected from the surface 141 of the mold 14, and the edge of the knife 2 is provided with a pressing surface 23 for pressurizing the laminate 10 when pressurized. Since the surface 23 is surface contacted with the laminate 10 to work the line 12, a stress for pressurizing the laminate 10 by the surface 12 when pressurized can be dispersed.
