PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an aluminum nitride powder capable of further improving the thermal conductivity of a resin composition, especially a heat radiating member, a mixed powder comprising the aluminum nitride powder and a good heat conductive fine powder and a resin composition filled therewith, especially the heat radiating member. SOLUTION: This aluminum nitride powder for filling the resin is characterized as comprising a pulverized material of an aluminum nitride sintered compact and having >50μm average particle diameter. The resin composition comprises 50-75 vol.% of the aluminum nitride powder and the heat radiating member comprises a formed compact thereof.
