PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate current consumption at an input terminal of a digital IC which generates intermittent clock for driving a converter (high voltage generating circuit), and to realize reduction in cost. SOLUTION: This power supply circuit is composed of a DA converter 4, an analog comparator 5 to which an output signal of the DA converter 4 is inputted, a high voltage generating circuit (inverter) 1 and a level converting circuit 2 to generate a voltage signal having a constant relationship with an output voltage of the high voltage generating circuit 1. As a result, an output of the level converting circuit 2 is fed back to the analog comparator 5 as the reference signal for comparison with an output signal of the DA converter 4 in order to control the output voltage of the high voltage generating circuit 1 based on the comparison result.
