PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hole section cover for a suspended scaffold or the like serving to prevent a foreign matter drop accident from the suspended scaffold suspended below a bridge or the like for the maintenance work. SOLUTION: This hole section cover is arranged on a hole section 18 through which the chain of the suspended scaffold suspended by the chain 16 passes to close the hole section 18 around the chain 16. The cover is provided with a pair of openable cover members 8a, 8b, and a brush-like chain coupling section 10a to be coupled with the chain 10 when a pair of cover members 8a, 8b are closed is provided at least on the inside of one cover member 8a.
