PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a smooth cooling air stream in a flow passage from a heat exchanger to the periphery of an engine to improve the cooling efficiency for the entire device. SOLUTION: In the cooling device for a construction machine which is provided with beam members 20a, 20b arranged in the lower part of a cover 13 covering a car body 2 and which cools a heat exchanger 9 and an engine 8 disposed within the cover 13 by sucking air through a shroud 10 while rotating a fan 11 installed in the cover 13 to generate cooling air, an air duct plate 38 reaching the neighborhood of the beam member 20a from the neighborhood of the shroud is provided.
