PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method which changes the behavior of a device on the basis of the experience of the device. SOLUTION: A device is provided with a sensing unit 1 for sensing a signal, an interest generation unit 4 programmed so as to generate an interest parameter in response to the sensed signal, a feeling generation unit 3 programmed so as to generate a feeling parameter in response tot he sensed signal and an operation unit 8 for operating the device. The device collects information on the basis of the interest, and when the device observes the same object as before, the device changes the behavior on the basis of the fluctuation of feeling generated at a time when the device observed the object in the past.
