PURPOSE: A display device having a 1394 CD ROM and a 1394 repeater board of a self power method is provided to supply a convenience by mounting a 1394 CD-ROM in a display device of a computer system directly and using a power source being supplied to a 1394 repeater board by a self power method if necessary. CONSTITUTION: In a display device(200) including a 1394 CD-ROM(220) and a 1394 repeater board(210), an output terminal of a self-power supplying device(100) operated by an external AC power is connected to the 1394 repeater board(210) by a power connection unit(300). The 1394 repeater board(210) receives an output voltage of the self-power supplying device(100) being applied through the power connection unit(300) through an over current protecting element(S/WP) by a regulator(211), and converts the output voltage into a DC voltage, and supplies the voltage to a driving power of a 1394 physical layer(212). An input voltage of the regulator(211) is applied to a 1394 port(213) through reverse-current protecting elements(D1,D2,D3,D4) and supplies to a 1394 device being connected to the 1394 port(213) at an exterior of the 1394 repeater board(210) or the display device(200). The 1394 physical layer(212) by the output power of the regulator(211) transmits/receives data through the 1394 port(213). The 1394 CD-ROM(220) receives a power source for operating the 1394 repeater board(210) through the 1394 port(213) and transmits/receives data to the 1394 physical layer(212).
