SYSTEM FOR ISSUING ID CARD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ID card issuing system capable of saving the man power related to ID card issuing. SOLUTION: This ID card issuing system which confirms that the ID card of an update object owned by an ID card issuing applicant has not been forged based on a request of the ID card issuing applicant and issues a newly updated ID card with an ID card preparing means, reads and collates face image information recorded on the IC card being an update object and face image information stored in an IC memory to detect forgery. The system reliably confirm whether or not the applicant is the person concerned from face image information obtained by directly photographing the applicant when the applicant applies for the ID card update, the face image information filed at the time when the ID card of the update object is previously issued or the face image information provided on the ID card.
