<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent scales from being formed on an inner support provided in a gas inlet port of an absorption tower. SOLUTION: A washing water pipe 21 is provided to prevent scales from being formed on an inner support (inlet post) 20 provided in a gas inlet 19 for introducing exhaust gas of a wet flue gas desulfurization equipment. In the pipe 21, a spray nozzle is provided at two locations, that is, near the upper part of the inlet 19 and near the front side of the support 20, or washing water is supplied into the support 20 provided in the gas inlet 19 to cause the water to flow out of the upper part of the support 20. When a circulation pump is actuated to feed absorption liquid into an absorption tower from an absorption liquid reservoir at the start of the desulfurization equipment, a forced water cleaning is started and after gas is supplied, it is effective that water washing is carried out within the allowable water balance of the absorption tower.</p> |
