<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a robot device of high amusement performance and a control method thereof. SOLUTION: In this robot device and a control method for that to generate an action based on parameter values for respective emotions in an emotion model or parameter values for respective desires in an instinct model which are renewed in order, the number of emotions or desires used in generating the action is gradually increased or decreased. In this robot device and the control method for that to generate an action based on the parameter values for the respective emotions in the emotion model and/or the parameter values for the respective desires in the instinct model, the parameter values for the emotions and/or the parameter values for the respective desires are renewed in order at a separately set corresponding sensitivity to each emotion and/or each desire based on stimulation given from the external and/or time passed, the environment is evaluated, and the sensitivity to each emotion and/or each desire is renewed based on result of evaluation.</p> |
