PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a heat sensitive multiple copy sheet having excellent manufacturability and excellent recording image quality and sensitivity. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the heat sensitive multiple copy sheet comprising the step of sequentially superposing an upper recording sheet having a heat sensitive recording layer containing a leuco dye, a colorant and an adhesive on the front surface of base paper and a thermal transfer layer containing a leuco dye and a thermoplastic organic compound on the rear surface of the paper, and a lower recording sheet having a thermal transfer receiving layer containing a colorant and an adhesive on the front surface of a base material sheet, as one means, the upper recording sheet is manufactured by coating the front surface of the base paper with an aqueous coating liquid for the recording layer containing the dye, the colorant and the adhesive, drying the liquid, providing the recording layer, then treating it at a nip part formed of metal rolls under the condition of a nipping line pressure of 100 to 500 kg/cm, and then providing a thermal transfer layer. |
