PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration damping flame-retardant resin composition having excellent rigidity, vibration damping performance and flame-retardancy and usable in a wide field. SOLUTION: The objective vibration damping flame-retardant resin composition having a loss factor of >=0.02 at 25 deg.C is composed mainly of (A) 1-96 wt.% rubber-modified styrene resin, (B) 1-96 wt.% heat-resistant styrene resin having a glass transition temperature of >=110 deg.C, (C) 1-50 wt.% one or more polymers selected from a polymer having a main tanδdispersion peak at -30 to +50 deg.C and a polymer containing a polymer block having a main tanδdispersion peak at -30 to +50 deg.C in the molecular structure, (D) 1-30 wt.% flame-retardant, (E) 1-60 wt.% inorganic filler, (F) 0-20 wt.% flame-retarding assistant and (G) 0-90 wt.% thermoplastic polymer other than those of the components A, B and C.
