PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure good characteristics without generating a peroxide when using tetrahydrofuran(THF) as a coating material for a charge transfer layer. SOLUTION: A charge generating layer 12 comprising an oxotitanium phthalocyanine vapor-deposited film is formed on an electrically conductive substrate 11 and an electric charge transfer layer 13 comprising a specified styryl-based charge transfer material, a specified additive (an antioxidant and UV absorber) and a resin binder is formed on the layer 12 with a coating material containing THF as the principal solvent to provide the objective laminate type electrophotographic photoreceptor 10.
