摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformize optical power between terminals on an optical data bus and to suppress loopback power returned to a stub of each optical input side by providing an attenuator respectively for stubs connecting to an optical input side and an optical output side of an EO transceiver at each utility device through a linear optical data bus. SOLUTION: An asymmetrical photocoupler 3 is fitted onto a main bus through which an optical signal is transmitted among optical data bus utility devices 1 corresponding to each utility device 1. Stubs 5a, 5b are provided for each asymmetrical photocoupler 3 and an EO transceiver 4 provided to each utility device 1. An attenuator 6 is provided for the stubs 5a, 5b connecting to an optical input side and an optical output side of the EO transceiver 4 of each utility terminal 1 on the linear optical data bus, and a splice 7 compensating a loss is provided on the main bus 2 among the adjacent asymmetrical photocouplers 3. Thus, the linear optical data bus of multi-terminals is realized.
