SUBSTANCE: simulator used for investigating burnout margin and various emergency conditions of fuel elements on electrically heated rigs as well as for conducting heat runs in industrial and practical investigations has upper current lead-in assembly, pressurizing assembly, simulator shell, and internal electrode. Shell is made of stainless steel. Insulating material in the form of ceramic bushings is placed between fuel element simulator case and internal electrode. Intermediate layer of low-melting material having high thermal conductivity is inserted between shell and insulating layer. Internal electrode is made of low- melting electricity conducting material. Boiling point of low-melting materials is higher than simulator operating temperature. EFFECT: enhanced power capacity and reliability of simulator. 3 cl, 1 dwg |
