PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone set, with which speaking is enabled while confirming speaking contents as character data and further, the contents of speaking for a long time can be preserved with a little memory capacity as well. SOLUTION: This telephone set is provided with a voice recognizing part 4 for converting voices in the conversation of a caller and a callee to character data, a storage part 5 for storing the converted character data, a display part 6 for displaying the converted character data, and a control part 12 for controlling these parts.
