PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast receiver provided with a DAB receiver and an RDS receiver that allows a user to have increased opportunities of hearing its desired interrupt information. SOLUTION: While a broadcast program from a DAB receiver 130 and an RDS receiver 140 is outputted to a sound output section 160 via a sound changeover section 150, a microcomputer control section 100 controls the interrupt information such as a weather forecast program from both receivers. In this case, an input device section 110 sets a designation corresponding to the interrupt information. An interrupt control means 102 of the microcomputer control section 100 conducts discrimination of a main reception mode and a sub reception mode and comparison of broadcast station identification codes and allows a display section 120 to display the interrupt information desired by the user.
