PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device and an image processing system that can transfer image data to other device without the need for a removable storage medium and obtain an image with high quality. SOLUTION: The imaging device 10 applies color temperature adjustment and data compression to RGB image data outputted form an analog/digital conversion section 13. No luminance/chrominance signal conversion is applied to an RGB signal in the imaging device 10. For example, when a data storage section 15 stores the RGB image data by a prescribed number, a data transmission section 16 transmits the image data to a prescribed mail address. A personal computer or the like receives the transmitted image data, applies data expansion processing to the data and then applies interpolation processing and sharpness processing to the resulting data. |
