PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric ceramics transformer comprising two output ends which operates in entire-wavelength oscillation mode as well as a circuit for driving two cold cathode ray fluorescent tubes using it. SOLUTION: The piezoelectric ceramics transformer comprises a piezoelectric ceramic plate 210 comprising a single drive part and two output parts 213 and 214, an internal electrode of multi-layer structure with two sets, four external electrodes 215, 216, 217, and 218, and two output electrodes 221, and 222. A piezoelectric ceramic plate is rectangular and comprises the drive part at a central part and the output parts at both end parts. The central drive part is subdivided into two input parts 211 and 212. Each of side surfaces of the two input parts is provided with an external electrode. A multi-layer internal electrode where the internal electrodes are connected, in parallel and alternately through the external electrode on the side surface is provided inside the input part. The output electrodes are provided at both end parts of the ceramic plate. |
