PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key telephone system that can control a plurality of PS(personal stations) of a cordless phone by having only to provide one TEI (terminal equipment identifier) to a CS(cell station) of the cordless phone. SOLUTION: The TEI to decide transmission reception timing of a signal with a master set 10 on a wire 11 between the CS 12 of the cordless phone and the master set 10 is given to the CS 12. The master set 10 has a function 10a by which a PS identifier, denoting to which of a plurality of PS 1 and 2 an outgoing signal is to be sent, is added to the head of the outgoing signal and the resulting outgoing signal is transmitted to the CS 12 in transmission timing decided by the TEI given to the CS 12. The CS 12 has a function 12a that receives the outgoing signal to the head of which the PS identifier is added in reception timing depending on the TEI given to the CS and wirelessly transmits the received outgoing signal to the PS denoted by the PS identifier added to the outgoing signal.
