PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a program information display device, capable of giving retrieval conditions needed to detect program information simply by selecting only one piece of program information among program information displayed on the screen of a display device and quickly and easily notifying program information related to a program of interest. SOLUTION: A retrieval condition generating means generates a retrieval condition from a plurality of pieces of received program information, on the basis of program information selected by a display selecting means, a program information retrieving means retrieves the plurality of pieces of program information received by using the generated retrieval condition, and retrieval results are displayed on the display device.
