PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit massive data without increasing a bus width by processing a current amount as transmission data and applying multi-level processing to current data. SOLUTION: The semiconductor integrated circuit has an input circuit, an internal circuit and an output circuit. The input circuit has an ADC 19 that converts multi-level current data received externally into sets DIB0-DIB7 of data of a binary voltage level, the internal circuit 18 receives the sets DIB0-DIB7 from the ADC 19 and outputs sets DOB0-DOB7 of data of a binary voltage level. The output circuit has a DAC 14 that converts the sets DOB0-DOB7 outputted from the internal circuit 18 into multi-level current data and provides an output externally.
