PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system which can add apparent decorating property to a building or display an advertisement or various information by using a mirror glass of the building. SOLUTION: A semitransparent body is produced by laminating a semitransparent thin film layer having a rugged pattern with a material having substantially the same refractive index to flatten the rugged pattern so as to obtain such a structure that the body maintains a viewing field without adding optical influences except for the intensity to the transmitted light and that a latent image recorded as a hologram or diffraction grating in the rugged pattern can be observed by the reflected light. This semitransparent body is used as a mirror glass on the outer face of a building to realize such a system that the latent image can be externally observed by using sun light or sky light in daytime and by projected light from a projector or the like at night, that a screen is formed from the rugged pattern and a reflection film layer on which a projected image can be observed, and that imparting the decorating property and information display are possible.
