PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the machining cost for a cam face and to reduce the cost by using a thrust bearing. SOLUTION: This differential gear includes a support member 11 connected and disconnected to and from a torque transmitting member 3 by a clutch 9, a pressing member 15 connected to the torque transmitting member 5 and provided with the cam face 17, and a rolling element 13 supported on the member 11 in contact with the member 3 and engaged with the cam face 17, and when the member 11 is connected to the member 3 by the clutch 9, on receiving torque between the members 3, 5, the member 15 is operated to move by thrust force generated in the cam face 17.
