The seal consists of a primary element (1) fastened by adhesive or a tongue (1) and groove to a frame member (2). The primary element has an anchoring projection (6) on its rear face to retain the curled lower edge of a J-section trim strip (7) which covers the primary element and can be of a colour to suit the customer's requirements, e.g. matching the colour of the frame. The upper edge of the trim strip has a seal lip (8) which goes against the glass.
