PURPOSE: An antenna device, a portable radio communication device and a method related thereto are provided to simplify the configuration of the antenna device, while reducing the manufacturing cost and power consumption. CONSTITUTION: An antenna device comprises a dielectric substrate(20); and a conductive antenna element(25) adapted to transmit radio waves in a predetermined frequency range. The conductive antenna element is arranged on the dielectric substrate, and includes a feed line connected to the output of a power amplifier(23) of a portable radio communication device. The power amplifier is fed with a radio frequency signal during use. The conductive antenna element is adapted to substantially damp the harmonics of the radio frequency signal output from the power amplifier such that the output of the power amplifier does not need a discrete filter.
