PURPOSE: Provided are substituted 1,2,4-triazine-3,5-dione derivatives and drug compositions containing, as an active ingredient, the same, particularly for coccidiosis treatment. The compounds have low toxicity and an extremely high anticoccidial activity. The discharge of oocysts into feces is not observed at all, therefore, the new compounds can provide an effective anticoccidial drug composition. CONSTITUTION: A substituted 1,2,4-triazine-3,5-dione derivative is represented by the formula(I), wherein R represents a 5- or 6-membered heterocyclic group which has at least one substituent selected from the group consisting of a halogen, a lower alkyl group and a halogenated lower alkyl group. An anticoccidial drug composition is characterized by containing the same as an active ingredient.
