PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor that fixes a resin board for holding a feed brush by a metal end plate with high quality. SOLUTION: A motor 10 comprises a resin board 30 for holding a feed brush 34, a metal end plate 20 that secures the resin board 30 and seals the end of the motor 10 in the axial direction, a yoke 40 that is coaxially fit to the end plate 20, and the like. A fitting piece 22 that is bent in the axial direction and coaxially fit into the yoke 40 with the outer circumferential face of the fitting piece mated with the inner circumferential face of the yoke 40 is formed on the end plate 20. Further, protruded pieces 22a extending in the axial direction are formed at the tip of the fitting piece 22, ad the protruded pieces 22a are plastically deformed in the circumferential direction and brought into contact with the contact bearing surface 36 of the resin board 30 inclined from the axial direction.
